The above photo was taken in October, 1968, on West 70th Street in front of PS 199 during the NYC Teachers Strike. It's one of my first attempts at photojournalism. I was eleven at the time. Unfortunately, I no longer have the negative, and this print has been damaged through the years. But the essence of the photo has survived.
